hi all and a happy new year to all who have already forgot lol, wondered if anyone could advise my 2001 td4 black smokes and wont rev,its only done 110k just wondered before i book it in to diesel ripp off merchants if any may have any ideas i could look at, been told could be coil pack? would appreciate any help chheers fpr now, magnus

I.m gunna say crank breather; however, when mine did this it was blue smoke not black.
Just a stab in the dark.
