Hi my name is Martin I don't own a landy but I do work for a specialist in the south east

The reason I join is that I am looking for a semi cheap diagnostic system for personal use, obviously being a specialist we have autologic but there are times when I wish to use diag outside of work, I already have diagnostic for BMW and I was just wondering if such a thing was available for a Landrover

£300 is slightly out of budget for occasional use but thanks for the heads up

there's another one called hawkeye - a bit cheaper - but not much

a while ago someone posted about using something like this with a tablet

not this one - it doesn't work on LR or diesel

but if you can find the right one and you know what you are doing (i don't) it may be a cheaper possibility

if you do suss it i am sure a lot of people would be interested

I've got an elm327 but as we all know LR don't tend to suffer with engine problems barring overheating and the likes I'm thinking something for RLC and abs etc
