I am a Design student currently doing a Masters Degree. I'm doing a project with Land Rover at the moment and I need a favour.

I'm designing a small 2 seater, modular, electric land rover for 2020 and my target customer is a Discovery owner. This vehicle would be used as a second vehicle for a family man that already owns a Land Rover Discovery.

As part of my research, I need to know what activities you guys do outdoor, (theres no wrong answer) and maybe what you would like to use this potential small electric vehicle for.

Ive got some activites so far; Golf, Hiking, Bike riding....any more?

Dogging, driving for help after getting bogged down. Can you make it waterproof?? for Paul D!! (He likes to take his disco swimming.. :D ..

Flotation chambers not needed ... much ... ;)

Shooting - electric silence wins here, along with wide windows for shooting from with strong wing mirrors to rest a heavy rifle on that don't get in the way, a flat bonnet of around low chest height also for shooting off. Plenty of 12v sockets is useful as well as decent reversing lights and the ability to turn DRLs OFF for extra stealth.
I'm sure there's more!

Whats the point in a 2nd vehicle if the first (Discovery) does the job?

Think this may appeal to the Freelander section

you need to narrow your target audience.

big difference between a d1 and d4 driver imo

Hmm..yes I do think I would have discovery owners as a target given that the whole point for most owners I know is the practicality. Cargo/towing capacity and such like. This idea sounds more for small car owners who would like to be able to go somewhere a bit more challenging from time to time. Each to their own tho...best of luck.
