Hi from yet another neighbour - Blairgowrie here.

My mother side of the family are from there, spent many a school holiday there.

Grandmother had a tied house to Keithbank mill in Rattray, mind you the place has changed a lot since then, haven't been back for about 5 years now.

Work for Peter Thomsom did she, or was it Bob who worked for him?

If it was Bob, it was me who sold him his BMW K750RT and he is now one of my near neighbours, I often park my Defender beside his slitty.

I believe she did, we were a stones throw from Mrs McDonalds shop and Alex Milne's garage, mill closed and she was relocated to the pensioners cottage just past the cemetery on the Perth rd at the bottom of the drive to the Ardblair Hotel - now that was handy.

As a kid I remember her working throughout the year in the fields at the Tatties, tying up of the berries, gooseberries, strawberries etc etc

My sister Marian also did some of the tying - Marian and John worked for Peter for years, but down at the Old Mill farm.
