Hi all, I'm new to this forum Evan though I've just baught my second discovery!
After getting all the carpets out I realised how much work I had cut out for me!
So I decided to cut the boot floor out after nearly falling through it! Only to find that the chassis needed a couple of repairs! Ok no biggie nothing a welder and and angle grinder can't sort out! But! I want to remove my rear crossmember so I can repair the mounts and a couple of patches on the crossmember it's self and once it's off I can clean up the rest of the chassis and give her a good coating of waxoyle! I've seen loads of threads about removing it but they all involve chopping the crossmember to bits! And putting a new one in, but unfortunalty for me I don't think my crossmember is bad enough to validate spending 100 or so quid on buying a new one, any help or advice will much appreciated thanks
