Hi all,
Am still quite new to owning a disco so be nice
I have a n reg 300tdi auto disco with a 3" lift kit.
would like to ask you guys what tires would you recommend?
As I currently have 235/85 r16 insa turbos special track which are fairly new and I don't seem to like them much great for off roading but tbh not so great on wet roads

And if any would would like to swap as well am based in the Wirral

Thanks for your time and looking forward to your answers

Dave

BFG AT's if you're into road or Green laning, but not into offroading ...

Thanks for quick response.
That's what am looking for really I don't really fancy heavy off roading it's just gonna cost a lot more to fix haha do you know the average price for part worn ones by any chance?

Sorry no, Try Tyres Direct they usually have good deals on for new. Don't be too put off by the initial prices, I used to run a set to about 25,000 miles and sell them on for about £250 on ebay ... ;)

Bear town tyres. £70 a corner for what look not dissimilar to BFG MT. 265 75 16. Work well on an off road.

Also do a similar pattern to Special Tracks for the same price and size.

They also do them on offset or standard modular wheels.

Interesting, Will have a shufti at them for future reference when at Billing this weekend.

Cheers

I currently have BFG ATs, they're very good but very firm and hard at recommended pressure. We have Hankook Dynapro ATs on a Nissan Navara and I had a set on my D2...they were much softer at recommended pressure and are very good for both road and off road (not mud). I had General Grabber tyres as well but didn't like them at all personally as I kept getting punctures and they hated any mud.
