Not wanting to spend a fortune on a new HEVAC or chance a second hand one does anybody know of someone/somewhere that test then repair or refurbish units? Is there a place on the forum where there’s a list of components and recommend repairers? I’m currently running a 95 4.0L RH Auto. The fault on the HEVAC is the usual bulbs that I’m happy to replace but while it’s out I’d like to have the fan controller fixed. It’s very hit and miss working on the odd occasion only. I apologise if the info is in a previous post that I’ve failed to uncover.......

"Hit & Miss" in auto mode, or when you turn the speed dial ? If it's the speed dial, then usually just needs the contacts cleaning.

Hit and miss when the dial is turned so contact cleaner then. It does have a pixel or two missing so would benefit from a overhaul. Thanks for the speedy response.

Your pixels thing could be just a bit damp mine done it before when cold and damp then all of a sudden it worked again

There's someone on the Bay selling Zebra connectors to repair hevac units with full instructions.type in p38 range rover hevac repair.

Thank you Pete. Funny you mention that, I looked today and all of the pixels were present! Just bulbs and contact cleaner on the fan switch. I lay it up in the summer And dragging it out of storage throws up a few problems that take a few weeks to resolve. One more to go, the sunroof won’t open. It’ll tilt but not slide backwards. A new thread I recon unless I can find the answer in an old thread.
