Mines isn’t doing that. I’m light. On DMF’s in general. My156 weasel did 150,000 on it’s original.

Think mine showed signs of going at 120k, IIRC but it didn't get really bad until maybe 140k miles. Depends what you do though. Mine's done a fair amount of towing and the missus isn't gentle with her. I wince whenever she changes gear. As for parking ... no wonder the friction plate was burnt. I've put a racing spec heavy duty friction plate in there now!

I know just how you feel my misses is the same with the clutch, every gear change comes with a thunk.
 
How much to have the pump recon?
It cost me £450.00. I bought a 2nd hand one from a breaker and it had the same leak as got me a failed MOT. I then got the original refurbished at £450.
I still have the replacement which I bought for £250.
 
Cheers all for input. Fitted the tps tonight. All syptoms gone. Truck back to being silky smooth so looks like I got away with a cheap fix.
