Looks like she enjoyed herself :D .... she will be grabbin the keys before you have chance to :)

i've hidden the keys mate cos i no she will take it out and not tell me.

can anyone tell me where abouts the temp gauge should go up to when on a long run cos i went out on a run last night and it got upto 3/4 and this morning when i checked the water level it was down by about 1-2oz,i went out today and when the temp went just over half way i switched on the electric fan and it seemed to stay at the 1/2 way mark, could this be a radiator problem as there is no obvious signs of a leak from the hoses.

sorry the silly question and long post.

hi Lee,
200tdi in GWO assuming the fan is on should be about half way not any more unless working hard tdis run really cool if everything is good. Mine reaches 3/4 but mine has no fan. If you have lost water could be Hgasket or a split hose worth investigating just to be on the safe side

P.s who is up for the pub meet tomorrow?

cheers mate i'll def get it looked into, normally it stays at the half way mark around town and on small straight roads but any straight road longer then 8 miles i.e dual carriage way or motorway it starts to go up to 3/4 but as soon as the speed comes down and im around town it goes to half way.the fan is on continually but i also have another fan which can be switched on as and when.

i'm up for the pub meet,i should be there for 7:30.

hello, i found driveing it over 70 caused the heat to go up, i always kept it at 60 and the heat never went up and is alot more economical at that speed, the hgasket was done a few months ago, check the back of the radiator to see if any of the fins are missing as that could cause it to get a bit warm ;)

Hey all.

Sorry I havent said this sooner.

I wont be at the pub tonight, unfortunately no invite :(

For those of you that dont know, me and Gibbo-Phil are no longer together for reasons which are personal. So I wish you all goodluck with them Landys and do take care as I most likely wont see many of you anymore. :(

And a big fat thank you to Mr RYDER For completely ruining the weekend for me.
You know what the hell im talking about..!
If you dont, ask Phil, im sure he'll tell you..!

Take care all.

Stace

Ill also probably check this maybe once or twice more before I completely give up, so if anyone does want to keep in touch you can contact me on here or get my number/email from Phil.
