I'll be honest Jamie If it made £200 I think you would be lucky. There are so many on ebay and kicking about second hand with a little MOT. I just brought a RR for £80. You may be better stripping it but its alot of hassel and not guranteed to be worth the effort. If I was in a better position I would be up for buying it but I'm totally skint. Your best bet mabe is to sell the engine complete with everything in the engine bay, transfer box and the rear axle to somone with an early 90 or 110. You might squeeze £350 for that lot if you find the right person, Then sell the steering box you may well get your £500 but you need to advertise everywhere possible.

Everyone is skint at the moment ebay isn't great for selling ask Kris300. I sold a good steering box for £26! just last week Jai

Jamie, if you want a hand stripping it to make the money you need I'll be happy to help. You'd need somewhere to store the stripped items though. Fleabay is really slow at the moment for parts, I still have bits from a rover that Jai and I stripped a month and a half ago.

Hey Jai... no worries for last night, was a little different from my usual evening so all good! Just sold a dog kennel on ebay but if you need another one to sleep in till R calms down let me know ;)

Ah she is ok, now cheers again tho I wish I got a pic of you driving it down the drive that was a pic moment if I ever saw one. Jamie you should put it on ebay test the water see what people are willing to pay for it. If it makes more than you need then let it go if not just pull it off at last min or out bid the winning bidder. One thing I have learnt is somthing is only worth what somone else is willing to pay for it.

yeah il do that, if it dont do well on ebay ill strip it of all the good parts and weigh in the rest, the disco is on my mates drive and the spare parts will be safe on the drive aswel, thanks ryder if i strip it let u no.

Morning Jamie, I did the exact same thing last week with a disco. Don't count on much or any money for weighing it in tho. Nobody would take my shell and chassis away for free, I had to ring two old good ole boys from Kings langley just to get rid that day.

Ryder was asked to pay £20 for Dunstable scrapyard to collect the blue rover shell. Scrap has seemed to plummet of late. Jai

Very slow all round, parts hardly sell on ebay and when they do there selling for next to nothing. Only the private work thats keeping things ticking over at the moment.

I have loads to sell I think my best bet is to take all i have along to comps and get rid there. they pay real money for things then

Has anyone who I towed recently lost a rope ??

I seem to have an extra, if you know the colour/type/breaking stain etc then I'll give it back :p

And Mr Leonberger I have two shiny new drain plugs for you ;)

Ok,

Yes mate, just got back myself. Off road was excellent, my first P&P, didnt get stuck either...was just using Diff lock in D2 :D Went round the course twice.
Didn't buy much at the show though.
A great day out :)

I too went round twice, mud hole was very efficient at blocking my rad up, ended up on the side of the A1 after making a mad dash across 3 lanes to let the engine cool off a bit.

I would like to have a play there again, good site.

B3aker what time did you do the course? I prob saw you there, I was there 10.30 till about 1.30ish...what colour is your defender?

I didn't do the course till about 3ish, It be a white hard top, with a lone beacon on the top.
