Sorry about tomorrow guys. Just got back from Leicester Square. Back there again tomorrow. My main competitor failed to turn up as booked, so I've landed his work.
I was doing great until I got the call. Almost finished fitting the X-Brake, looks a seriously good bit of kit, really well made. Refit prop, top up gearbox, as most of the EP90 fell out when I was fitting the X-brake. Swap over the electric fan. I would have been finished. Unfortunately Premieres can't be put off and I can't turn the money away at the moment. Desperate to get back out Laning again though.

Hey congrats on picking up his work! You sure can't turn it away these days!

Noboody stuck we had a great day lots of scenary, a few Fords all very pleasant Thanks again to Ryder for his navigation skills. Jai

Good one people. A nice days laning. Nobody got stuck and nothing broke (don't know what went wrong there LOL)

Hope the newbies had a good day out. Shame Furneaux Pelham was almost dry but thats just the way it goes. Ashwell was a disaster waiting to happen so we didn't drive it but did some other stuff that was very pleasant. All in all a 110mile round trip, a bit of mud and ruts and some water, Standon was O.K. today - a good day out.

Can't wait to see the piccies.

Kev, What's wrong with Ashwell then? It's only a bit of mud.

Not quite. Fairly hard today with a thin coat of wet very slippery clay over the top. You know, the sort of thing that says easy, then clogs your tyres and stops you dead.

Then of course there were the deep ruts on the left side, yes, deep even for you, but certainly too deep for most of us today and the ditch on right was just screaming "come on down" (on to your roof). It would only have needed a small slide and game over. Just not worth the risk no matter what anybody says.

Twas a good day as has been said. I was a little concerned when I noticed Leonburger putting his wading plugs in to go through a car wash... and before we started too!

We did have the Frontie with us as you can see here... (in case there's any doubt its the one with its bonnet up every few minutes!)

In a rare exhibition of nerves, Glenn321 decided to bottle out of the ford at Pelham and climb out in the most direct way possible.

After all his going on about land rovers.... Leonburger is convinced he's in a submarine!

Not that Beth look too worried!

Even Glenn had a paddle

I'll upload the vids later, firt I gonna have to find a way to view them on this machine.

Cheers

Ashwell mud is deceptive. What looks OK and firm is just a breakable crust on top of the mire underneath.
I will have a go though, because it's there.
