If you bring an OS map and a highlighter we can show you how on find them with advice on which ones are legal and which ones to avoid.

Leaving in an hour just gotta measure the back panel of the offroader so I can get it cut tomorrow
More etch primer required!!!!

Just started and Hatfield uni haven't bought me landy down yet but may do so in the next few months or after xmas will be up for some lanes when I do though :)

when are you guys going out again?

I haven't been out laning for a couple of months but I am planning to go to devils pit sunday.

I should've expected the response regarding devils pit. I know people's views are fairly dim about it and I must admit that I didn't like it when I first went.

That said, a friend of mine took his hilux there recently and loved it. He had a problem with his truck and had a bunch of the "pikeys" go out of their way to help. Even he'd written them off as the wrong sort at first but they were fine. He loved the variety and more extreme options there and as such came away loving the experience. He's talked me into going up again so I thought I'd give it another chance this weekend.

Ultimately, you drive as hard as you drive and if you break your truck, you only have yourself to blame. Yes the clay/mud can be bad if left on but comes off with a rinse on the day, so not all bad. The top to bottom mud I get anywhere else takes just as long to get off.

Unfortunately the lanes round here are both overgrown for my massive landy and rather tame. I've done whaddon a few times and there were some idiots there as well as a poorly maintained, never changing site.

A mans got to mud somewhere

Well that's a typical response from someone that rents devils pit and wants to keep on Simons good side aye!! We just tell it like it is.

Lanes are not for muddying,

If you want come to a comp we'll have some fun and maybe get some shiny stuff to prove it!

As a site it's not bad, comped there when they used to do comps not any more alas!

No issue with Simon or the site but too many bad experiences myself to recommend.

Whaddon have had a far better experience.

Plus last time I went to devils out is cost me a fortune!!

There is good and bad at both site!! Remember not so long ago the son got caught weighing in people's cars that were left over night as broken down at whaddon
Not sure people should slander either, it's there vehicle and there choice lol
