Apologies I never made it last night, fired up the Rangie to come over, noticed the tailgate was ratteling, went to slam it and realised some little scrote has screwdrivered the lock and nicked a load of stuff, not impressed!!

If anyone is offered or hears of any offroady stuff, red highlift jack, 6ton strop, 8ton kenitic rope, D shackles and a cheapo socket set can they let me know please :-(

Pub meet tonight!!

Need to plan an outing!! Maybe a Billing/Greenlane weekend?? Anyone

Beaker how's your 110??

The 110's getting there...... Need to have it out the Barn that its in by the end of July or it'll be under a few tonnes of grain. Just need to put the rad and intercooler back in then thats done, Ready to see if it'll get through an MOT. Should be up for something in august possibly.......

Doesn't help that work is so bloody busy at the moment, Or that i'm skint as i've just paid for myself to do my C+E so i can tow a bloody trailer.

Anyways, How's the trail motor coming along? And how is everyone???

Went out last night with the other half to do a few lanes, headed out over Whitwell by the watertower.....the lane that comes from the tower back down towards the village (down hill) is blocked by a rather large fallen branch, squeezed under a smalller fallen one just but the next one is just too large to do anything with. Lots of reversing back down the hill in the dark

Detoured round it then started off at the watertower again heading down the lane towards Whitewaybottom lane, came across a N reg Micra parked in the ruts towards the end. Though it had been dumped there but some old bloke popped up with a spade- had been trying to dig himself out for the past hour after following his satnav. Had already sent his wife and daughter back to the village to get a cab home, and was pleased to see me bowling down there! The only time I go out without recovery gear was today...he just wanted to get the car out so I offered to push it all the way to the end as it wouldnt start, he was well happy with that lol

Poor Micra got a battering, the thing was covered in mud inside and out, the bloke was head to toe in mud and now the car has a cracked rear bumper, smashed numberplate and dented boot where I pushed him with my winch bumper.

All in all a good evening, fancy going over Henham way soon to do the lanes by the banger track.....

Lanes by the banger track are always good

Spyderman took a few of us out that way a few years ago now, was bloody brilliant back then! Are you familiar with lanes round that way Jai?

There was one we went on that day, had to climb up and over a tree if you couldnt squeeze underneath it, also one point was very tight where half my NS tyres were overhanging a ditch lol Sure it was the one that started up by the banger track....

Coupe, never do that lane that you drive over the tree in the wet, it's lethal.

I'm sitting indoors with a perfectly serviceable Landy outside.."..what am I doing? I should be out there playing.

I'd never go that far out by myself, always wary about going out doing new lanes or 'extreme' lanes in the weather....the wet and puddles in particular hide too much! Still new to it myself really so always prefer to have the knowledge of someone more experienced ;)

I'm the same, Landys sitting downstairs covered in mud wanting some more, may take a pomder out after i've seen the Stevenage leg of the Torch relay and had some dinner...

Don't think my landy would get down that lane now with the roof rack!!

Done loads of lanes out by the banger track and loads around that way but that was probably 6 or 7!years ago now how scary!!
