Lol well i guess they'll get caught and their comp motors crushed. I wonder how many "comp motors" are actually comp legal and indeed ever used.

What Probs you got maybe we could help.

Got 300tdi and starts on the button but when I pull away it dies on me and has cut out and then is hard to start. Once it's got going it's fine until I stop. Come back half hour later and it's like when I first started it. Any ideas. It's one of those horrible problems. It's like it's the lift pump but runs fine after. Strange.?

Sounds like you gotta air leak lettin the doozil drain back to the tank, but enough in the FIP to start and run for a bit. It's hard to start after conking out cos it's gotta suck the doozil back from the tank. Be worth checking leak off pipes on injectors too.

Yea one of those ones, I'd be checking Fuel pickup pipes for corrosion, double check the inj pipes are tight. Sounds mad but I know spyderman managed to ( throw his propshaft at them) which clobbered one and it wasn't tight and it would run above tick over ok but dropping down to low revs it would run rough and when trying to rev up it would just die. That was a loose nut on inj pump.

Hopefully you have an easy fix

If it was an air leak wouldn't it run unevenly on a run. Sounds like a fuel problem to me but runs fine after initial problems.

Could it be a loose injector. Haven't long done injectors but maybe a possibility. I'll have to check tomorrow.

I need to do more than 372 miles between MOT's next year! Will be having it MOT'd in mid Jan. Still got to do the clutch one weekend before the MOT.

Then shall we re attempt the Wales trip at some point.......

Wales Sounds good we must just go and do it!

I had a thought which I'll put out there to see what people think. The weekend of the CSMA Slab Common 16/17 June we could do some laning and if people want they can take part in the event. I think there is camping available (if you take part in the event) but we might be able to make a long weekend of it do the events and some lanes before or after or both depending on work etc

Sounds good to me, If i know enough in advance I can always get time off. :D

Should be a bit more reliable in 2012 I hope......

Anybody still up for some lanes on Monday?

I've heard there's a lane in Broxbourne that takes an hour to do a mile:doh:

Having now looked there are 3 byways shown on the map near Broxbourn Woods that I haven't driven, I can't believe that any legal byway would take an hour to drive a mile and if it did it shouldn't be being driven anyway.

If its legal I want to drive it.

Well I may be about.... but I know I have to meet Mr V this weekend so a lot depends on which days he is down.
