I don't know if the pub 100yds down the road does food but I cannot think of a takeaway without a bit of a drive.

Am going to lochgoilhead, taking a group of 35 scouts up there for water based activities, i always went when i was a scout and it was fantastic, this tim i'm taking scouts up there so a different way of looking at things, still should be good.

It is a bit quiet but I think everyone is watching the pennies and sortin their motas. As for the food bit BBQ is the plan so bring what ever roadkill you want to creeemate but bring cash in case tis too wet to burn stuff an we has ter make an assault on the local hostillry. But then again just bring lots of beer, liquid calories taste so much better and take less effort:eek:

Yeah I unnerstand. Can yer alf inch a bottle of oxygen?

If no, remember wot pilots sez - 8 hours bottle to throttle!

Anuvva trick - drink 2 pints of water wiv a TABLESPOON of sugar in each pint before you go to sleep, you will wake up feelin fine.

Tis said that you should be able to drink your weight in beer - not sure 'bout this one but in theory if you weigh say 12 stone you should be able to drink 12 pints based on the amount of claret pumpin round yer veins. Yeah sounds like bull to me tooooooo!!

Hi guys...

Well, really ****ed off cos I had to ccancel tomorrow's little jaunt down to Surrey... like everyone else the appearance to two serioius bills yesterday left me reeling (I'm sure someone just gave me an invoice for the national debt!) So its work, work and still more of the work stuff this weekend.

Do have a question though. Was changing my wheels around today (thanks for the axle stands kev, I'll drop them back tomorrow!), had both rear wheels off the ground. rotated one of them and the other rotated the other direction. Now I know there's a perfectly simple explanation so would someone make it simple for me to understand?

if that were true mate i'd need a keg all to myself to drink my weight.........
i got an o2 cylinder and mask etc here but wont be bringing it, will look like i'm getting ready for a BIRTH ON THE PLAIN....... which is not a good idea.............. lol
2 pints with a tablespoon of sugar in each? i'll have to try that next time i'm out on the razzle!

i reckon, depending on the beer, about 4 cans will do me nicely for when were up there, i dont need to drink to enjoy meself, plus it means i can laugh at all you lot when you get past the blood/alcohol levels.

hey 99claydond... you seem to have all this kit (no one's asking how), serious question. Are you first aid/medic trained. no pressure But Rose was asking ;)

Simple, it's your diff doing its thing. Perfectly normal, you need to remember there are gears in the diff. The way they are arranged means when you spin one wheel the other will go the other way if both are in free air. If the power comes in from the prop shaft both wheels will try to turn the same but if one wheel has more grip than the other, the power looks for the easy way out so the wheel with the least grip will spin. This is also why getting cross axled will stop you going forward coz neither axle can transmit power when each has a wheel in the air coz the power is "leaking" out through the free spinning wheels.

Hope that helps.

OH and, while we're out on the plain, we gave to get a "group photo" we need to find a nice spot so we can all get together and get a decent picture to send in to the mags! be nice to get us all in there!! i'm taking the decent camera (and will remember my memory card this time) also will be taking the video camera to mount on the dash..
