Morning all!

I have been away for a couple of weeks moving house! I am now resident in N.Wales but haven't organised broadband and stuff yet so waited until in the office!!

Hope all is good with you, no doubt we'll catch up soon.

Why were you dangling your tripod in the ocean ? You can get arrested for stuff like that :D

So where are the pics from just before you nearly drowned :D

Hey Kev, How you enjoying the country ??

The country is great! It is quiet, there are no really close neighbours and I have a huge workshop ( well it will be!). There are a number of byways close by and so far, the pubs have been O.K. All in all not much to grumble about I suppose. Once the place is a bit organised I'm sure I can find space to put a few tents in a field for you guys to come and sample North Wales. Attached is a view of the house from the back garden and a couple of me shed!

Hey Kev nice shed :D:D

Booger I cant view the pics I was taking with my camera when I nearly got swept away until I get back home.. they are 'RAW' files so my netbook doesn't recognise them. Here is a phone pic just from the landy in Elgol

That (somewhere behind the cloud :D) is the Black Cuillin ridge. Scrabled up the beach a mile or 2 with the dog and took this facing the Red Cuillin

And one of the landy being very useful :) This is the single track road that winds along the coast to the last village where I'm staying. From here it just becomes the gravel track

Jack, can't you take in RAW & JPEG for the same shot? Mine can.

I can but it uses more memory and theres not much point as they won't be final edited pictures anyway. I try my best not to take 'snaps' with the proper camera or I'm not in the right mindset when I start shooting seriously.

It was that evening in Elgol i got a bit wet  Just off to the left of the pic taken from the landy when the tide came in. The tripod was properly wedged in between some big rocks but the wave swept them away and almost the tripod too  (and me :D)

That looks great Kev, much like Dorset :D Once you get used to the pace of things, you'll never be able to go back ;)
