Ok I'll get the weekend out of the way and see what deals are available.... Haven't seen anything about Rye House... Spydie do you have contact details? I am using a company called Team Karting who have a site in north london and another at tower bridge (Tower Bridge has one or two issues at the moment apparently) - we're using petrol Karts but TB uses electric ones that are allegedly 2.5 seconds faster round the track than their 350cc ones!

Spydie... don't you think that your weight (and my weight especially) will give Kai an unnatural advantage? He's been studying racing lines for two weeks and I have a sneaking suspicion that I am going to have a hard time getting past him on Sunday (aaaaaarrrrhhhhhh!)

Weight plays a big factor, more so indoors as speeds are lower and the karts are less powerful. If Kai is any good at it, you've no chance.
Rye House is in Hoddesden, it's a good track. Corner at the end of the long straight sorts the men from the boys as to who keeps their toe in.

There's a cart track out near Caxton, Has indoor and outdoor track, never done the outdoor one. But been sin bined on the indoor one many a time :D

starting doing the whole front drive more parking Req well space for a trailer in the back needed really so I've been diggin' and will be diggin' and laying blocks for the next few weeks inbetween squeezing in the odd offroader job and some maintainance on the 90

Bloody 'ell!

Well.... went to this place team sport Go Karting | 11 Indoor Karting Tracks | Team Sport Karting London Bristol Cardiff

Went to their North London indoor circuit. Loadsa fun... Kai drove well... his young friend that we took along drove like a demon and came first.... despite only being in a junior Kart!

anyhow... if nayone is interested we can go down there evening/midweek or even on sunday morning... and as long as there are twelve of us we get the session to ourselves. So £20 each driver... two fifteen minute racing sessions and it is an open timed session ie fastest lap time is what we are interested in.

If anyone is up for going I'll start a new thread... in the event that there are more than twelve drivers I might have to have a rethink.

Cheers all
