jai how was it to fit the split charge system may look at putting one on my disco:D

Hi Ashb,

Really easy hardest thing is routing the wires in the dash I can't stand it when wires are floating about (dispite my dash being like this since forever) I got the T-max and was really simple. making a mount for the control panel and routing th ewores was the hardest part.

Red - Main batt Positive,
Black - Earth,
Blue - Aux battery (fused)
Green - Solonoid negative (switched by control panel)

The only thing against fitting it as per the manual I have is that its always live I wanted a kill switch that kills everything. I'm working on sorting that and I'm lucky that all my added accesories come off a single point so was really easy to hook these to the aux batt only with no fear of draining the main and starting battery.

If I was to do it again I would probably just buy a 150A relay and a couple of battery monitors from the RC shop I think I could build one for about £40 but not as bling but far more simple

Who is up for laning on Sunday 13th? I'm thinking meet at Tesco Royston then ...

Therfield, Reed, Barkway, Barley, Chishill, Melbourn, Ashwell in the morning then depending on how long it takes go do some lanes a bit further north into Cambridgeshire in the afternoon. Anyone free this monday tues weds to do a recce? Can you add your name to the list so I know roughly how many want to come.

Hey! That's my patch!! Gerrofff!!

Hmmmmm not sure Norbert is or his driver  is upto laning like wot you guys do....

Only have to worry if your out with Spyderman Or Jai!

Or Myself thinking about it :D

  I'd kinda like to come along, but a) I admit to not wanting to break my Disco (just cost me a bomb to fix) and b) he's not dressed for laning, not just tyres, but he has skirting board/steps thingys too... which despite my height, I find useful, so they are staying :D Anyways, this weekend would be tricky for me, as will be ferrying horses and belongings about both days...:(:)

just an idea who would be up for a charity event? Raising some money for a good cause? Treasure hunt with some competitive element such as navigation or some fun driving games? I'm sure we could raise a decent ammount of money between all of us all.

Sounds like a good idea buddie. I should be up for it.

I know a few non damaging routes about on the fenland lanes up just north of cambsm Done a few of them in the fiesta.

Norbert and his driver will be fine! As Brett says, MikeV8 did most of these in his standard rrc! If you don't like the look of anything you can always turn round but i doubt we'll come across anything like that! Will be doing a recce on Saturday so I will be looking out for any dangerous / hard sections.

will be fine Jack is on road tyres!

Will *hopefully* have the muds on by then :D:D

Side steps on a disco?:lol: Try getting into Jai or Brett's! :p:D Thinking about 10 or 11am for Saturday, 9.30 or 10.30 for Sunday you are welcome either day whatever time just let me know so we don't go without you.
