Been there done that(twice), got the photos.
The lane in it's present condition would see me swimming. XL's have zero sideways grip.

I'm not afraid to have a go at things, others will testify to that. If it's doable I'll have a go.

Whaddon is going to be mildly moist tomorrow I bet. Shame I've got family and friends for lunch or I might have been tempted.

I know you've done it before, how else would you have been able to tell us about it and show us piccies, but when are you going to dare go again now its eroded :D:D

About time I did some lanes, haven't done any in ages. Could be a bit wet out there, Furneaux Pelham and Standon could be interesting.

I'll let you know, you can go first.:D

When I get my muds on :rolleyes:

I'm contemplating some new springs after next months payday cause I think the existing ones are feeling a bit tired.. Been searching for threads on the forums but they all seem to be about raised suspension which I don't really want. You guys got any suggestions on what or where to buy from?

Apparently LR genuine springs were not availabe for 90 (not sure how true that is) but Britpart do do springs from paddocks. Tbh unless your ones are seriously sagging I wouldn't bother.

TBH I have had britpart springs on my mota for 5 years and they have been fine but my springs are non standard 90 items they are however HD RR rears +3 insh compared to my 90 but quite a bit softer rate 175Lbs per inch opposed to 215lbs inch. Can't really go wrong with Springs they will just sag soft i'd probably buy a set for a 110 from paddocks if your worried about them.

£80 with a little change would see you with a new set of springs. If you want to swap them then start spraying your shock mounting nuts as they will be tight keep spraying them with WD40 every few days until you fit your new springs. might be an idea to buy a pair of turret rings aswell as its worth changing them if they are original and rusty. If you need a hand you can come down here and do it outside my house on the road when I'm having a day of Landying no probs, should have a set of springs swapped in a couple of hours.

Awesome, thanks so much! As I said it'll probably be next month before I can afford it. Do I need the ones with or without self levelling? Stupid question probably but I am still learning :eek:

need to check under your motor if you have a ram/shock absorber connected to the A frame and chassis this is a self levelling unit if its not there you need the sprinsg without the self levelling unit

Cheers I'll take a look tomorrow.

Something in the back of my head is asking, if I'm replacing my springs is it worth getting a lift kit to save expense at a later time? I never really thought I needed or wanted to lift it and I only have standard size wheels so I wouldn't really gain any more ground clearance from it. Do you have an opinion?
