Hate the look of it and can't keep anything in the back without it getting wet. I want a stereo in the back too, also liked the racking Adam had in his makes it tidy and you can find what your looking for. Also the truck cab has limited seat and storage room.

Fair enough, although I don't think you could call it tidy :D:D Have you got sides?

Yeah brought sides little while ago been thinking about if for a while but I like the look of the truck cab on it's own but just not pratical

Hey Mr.V how are you fella?

If it is not desperate, why not get your existing alternator refurbished. There is a place in Sundon Park that could do it for a reasonable price or as an alternative there is another place up at Markyate. Provided there are no short circuits in the windings, it would be fairly easy to get new regulator, brushes, slip rings and recitifier for not a huge amount of money.

I did think about that, but its my only transport at the moment, although currently no work to go to...:( but if something comes up I need to get there..

When I have a replacement, i'll probably get this one refurbed as a backup.

Ok, now I have secure Flickr and Wordpress sites for us to use. Can you guys share your thoughts on which you think would be best to use to host our pictures of greenlaning trips etc?

Flickr
You probably know what it is. A photo sharing site where you can upload directly from your computer without hosting pictures on insecure websites such as photobucket or tinypic. You can add descriptions and tags to induvidual photos or albums. We would have 1 user and 1 password which we would share and you use to view and upload images and videos. You have to do a few extra clicks to make pictures secure. I could keep the login details to myself and you can use your own flickr accounts to view the pictures but I would have to add you as 'family' on the site for you to gain access.

Wordpress
A site where you can create your own free blogs online (basically an online diary). You can add blog entries with pictures in and make induvidual entries secure. The pictures are secure within the entries if you make them this way. There are two secure options, either completely private (you need the account details to log in to wordpress to view them) or password protected (you need a different password which you create at the time of writing the blog entry)

Do you guys have any preferences?

Personally I think we are better off with Wordpress. I can give the login details to a few people who will be able to make new entries and then we can make the entries password protected and give the read-only passwords to anyone we choose.

Hope you can understand all that :p:p

Well done mate, wordpress is cool, i'm personally more familiar with flickr or photobucket, but i can see the benefits of going the wordpress route... Can you add albums of photos on wordpress then?
