'Ere Ryder, I hope you've cleaned and polished my Hi-Lift. I'm expecting spotless recovery kit, shiny shackles, nice clean green waffles.

I need to sort the mess out in the back of mine, sorry, The tool box.

Suddenly realised when i got in the i hadn't fed the dog all evening. Ooops!

I was worried about your dog in the back of my landy when I started going over the edge, I thought I was a gonna. Diddnt think I would be so happy to see a yellow 90 to come round the corner with a rope attached. Phew.

Your little slide was nothing, you should have seen Jai's slide in the same place.
Mind you the Disco was worse coming across the waffles where the track had disappeared, I was trying to hold it from going over the edge, I yelled at Ben to nail it in reverse, just made it, it was nearly all over.

TBH us all walking over the track made it worse cos when I reversed in there it was fine no slip at all, hour later different story. I see the front wheel mm away from edge and thought nothing of it until I noticed the 15ft drop at that point I was worried.

Hmmm, removing my winch looks like a bastid of a job.

The drop got worse the further towards the end we got, the drop got less in the other direction, there was just too many obsicals that way to make it viable though.

Worked better than expected I just thought that it'd arc and be ****e not allow any current to flow but twasn't bad I had visions of me having to put the wire on the starter motor in the dark ****ing with rain just waiting to drop that nut in the horrible clay just for that recovery job. Just goes to show that if you have a poorly winch because of corroded or bad contacts they must be pretty poor cos mine wasn't as bad as expected.

On the corner the edge I thought it wasnt that bad got out and had a look from the front looked pretty bad climbed around the back and it was pretty close but all fun and games! Don't think I wasn't smiling the whole time I kinda enjoy these recovery Jaunts evry now and then.

I'm feeling pretty tired I omitted bed time lack of phone alarm (now found in dash) so I stayed up felt like ****e this am but got better I will sink a few coronas tonight and have a nice sleep!
