Why do you need more than one heater???!!!

Lot on ebay was for 1 working 1 for spares. The guy decided he wanted to get one big new one for his boat. Because they are quite old (1994 i think) and they are hard to find parts for I thought it would be good (if one went wrong I could just get the parts from the other). After I won the auction, he went to take out the diesel pumps and found a broken pipe which was probably the fault with it (Webasto dealer he took it to couldn't find what was wrong). So I am expecting them both to work when I get the relevant pipework :D:D 2 for the price of 1 :p:p Paid £355 for them both they cost something like a grand each new :eek:

The reason I needed new lights in the first place was cause I had bought upgrade halogen bulbs off ebay. They didnt fit and my screws wouldn't put the lights back together cause they had rusted to bits and the plastic had warped so much I couldn't put bulbs back in the sidelights / indicators. I got a refund without having to send the bulbs back to the ebay seller. I bought full halogen replacement units from the mail order company who took forever to get them to me (mailorder4x4), and now they have arrived I checked and the bulbs from ebay fit the halogen conversion units so will keep them as spares :D:D

I'm doing quite well lately aren't I? :D:D:D

Well guys, me and a few mates are still planning on heading to violets lane tomorrow... at 11am we shall be heading from Stevenage to the violets lane area... To drive the numerous lanes in that part... If anyone fancies tagging along PM me and we can maybe arrange something!

You reckon I could do it without a snorkel / wading mods? And if I manage to get stuck you'd have to pull me out backwards as I still haven't got my front recovery point... :p

Wouldn't risk myself standon and Fernaux can get deep if any decent rain has fallen. Plus you will need front points even if its just jates IMO

With all of the recent rain there's no way I'd take a V8 or any motor without a snorkel through Standon or Violets Lane atm. The risk is way too high, chances of killing your engine is very real.

Once you're in them you're pretty much commited to carrying on through. I'm happy to organise a trip to the fords in the next few weeks, if they look a bit dodgy I'll drive them to check them out first.

Violets lane will have alot of water in it i should think with all the rain. Same with Standon. Even though I have a snorkel and Extended breathers i wouldn't do it if t were above the arches most of the way, Me ECU wont like getting wet....

 It resides under the drivers seat on a Td5. :D :D
That's a stupid place to put electronics, couldn't you have put it somewhere more sensible?

I don't have such clever stupid things on mine. Progress I suppose.:D Means that you can't go where I can.

And the fact it's started raining again now is only going to add to it!! We have decided to still head that way, and have a look at whats occurring... If it's too deep we won't do it.. We'll just stick to the other lanes in the area instead!

Its where Landrover in all their wisdom decided to put it
