Anyone want a caravan chassis £40?

Would make a great recovery trailer, mabe not for a ditched Range Rover but for a light offroad toy/smart car ect

What about this for recovering a ditched Rangie?

Evening all. Would anyone happen to know what the lanes are like between Silverstone and Woodford in Northants are like? Was thinking of trundling up there sat afternoon.

I saw a rangy not unlike that one with the slogan (Bitch Magnet) across the screen.... maybe in Carpy's case it should be re-written to read "Ditch Magnet" LOL

Hey Chris, I know I keep saying we need to chat about GPS tracking, but the time is really getting close now. My business is nearly sold, they are coming to take photo's of my house tomorrow, and when that is sold I'm getting a big F Off truck and going on the mother of all road trips.... Then my only permanent home will be my homepage :D

And you other guys battling to find some open lanes, how about some pay and play ??

I do like tata's offerings!
failing that mabe a 127 RAPIER converted to TDI would make a great camper conversion but i'd have to sell the house to be able to afford owt like that.

Yea the 6x6 looks well comfy, but I think it's too big for me.

The Russian trucks look amazing too, but also pretty big. I guess they would be a good choice for Russia, China, Mongolia trips, but I'd worry that spares may be hard to find in Africa ?? That's not based on any scientific facts, just a feeling

Love the Unimogs for relatively compact size and sheer off road ability, but to get a low mileage one with a nice box costs a fortune.... hehe I said nice box :p

So is probably gonna be something like this

Only problem is we don't have a workshop big enough to build the body

Cheers Ryder for the propshaft bolts' Ive bolted up the propshaft now almost ready for a test drive tomorrow
You know you are welcome mate... ironic really... I would never have kept that bit if you hadn't advised me to when I took it off the first transfer box!

My dad prepped one for Morocco a couple of years back before he retired. The guy went with a guide and the guide was showing them how to drive but was getting it stuck regularly once the owner got rid of the guide it didn't get stuck anymore. it got all the way there and back no hiccups just a slow drive. Reliable and strong my Dads cuppa tea. I think my dad trained on them back in the day and knows them inside out.
