I might shoot up in the car depends if I can shift some bits. If anyone walking about spots any 110 rear caliper mounts from a salisbury I'd mucho appreciate a phone call and a price I'm in need of a pair very soon

if any one is going to billing on sunday, i owe a few of you a pint or 2 so make sure you gimme a shout! i'm hoping to pick up some bargains as good as i did last year!

pm me if you've lost me number!

AND................ if you own a TD5 and you have considered td5 alive but wonder if its worth the price? its deffinately worth it! 100%

Put it this way DB stopped talking to me for 1/2 hour coz he was too jealous! lol!

Peace x

lol shoulda explained I'm after some defender rear caliper brackets from a salisbury axle ftc3306 if anyone knows of any going anywhere 70 quid for 2 brackets seems a bit steep for me.

Quite a gathering on Saturday then.

Jai If you send me a photo of what I'm looking for, I'll keep my eyes out as I trawl the stands for bits.

hiya Dan,

All this TD5 lark you were the man slagging them off to us all in Salisbury much to lanedrovers amusement. Do I sense a change of heart?

Only downside to TD5 is you need a diagnostic 'puter to interrogate the vehicle, apart from that it's as reliable as any other Land Rover engine.
My B-i-L had a Disco 2 TD5, chipped and bigger intercooler, it was a flying machine, it'd leave a V8 standing. Cruised at 100, 4 up, loaded and a top-box,
700 miles to the Alps, averaged 30mpg.

Anyone Know anyone who's after a hardtop for a 90 (Thats what i've been told it is anyway)
:nospamhere:

jai how quick do you need them. will be getting the 110 axles on sunday, so at some stage will have the rear axle off that up for grabs

Carpy well my landy is rear axleless at the moment will be putting the 4.7 ratio axle on as soon as I shift this Flu thing. Seems pointless fitting new drum brakes to it.

How much you looking for your axle/axle ends?

Any of you (local) guys got any experience of removing a sheared off steering stop bolt?

Went to adjust them the other day after I put my 285's on and the nearside one sheared off....theres a bit sticking out but I have no experience or equipment to remove the offending item! Its being MOT'd and taxed today so I can take it to Billing at the weekend but dont want to go there with my tyres catching on lock!
