Well following the advice of LARA posted on a nother thread, I wrote to my MP and, even though it is double posting, here's the reply.

Thank you for contacting me and for your request that I write on your behalf to Nick Clegg MP the Deputy Prime Minister in respect of repealing Section 67 of the Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006.

I can confirm that I have written to the Deputy Prime Minister to ask him to consider your request to repeal this particular statute and will be back in contact with you as soon as a reply is received.

With very best wishes,

Yours sincerely,

Andrew Selous

Member of Parliament for SW Bedfordshire

So I think it's worth everyone having a go.

Does anyone have a hefty puller I can borrow? I need to replace the seal on my steering box, so need to remove the drop arm.
Would it be easier on or off the car?

I've got a heavy duty hydraulic puller that does them easy, but i'm not that local to you. Does pull them off with some force, stand well clear of it. Last time i used it, it flew out the workshop and killed this guys dog, can't be helped sometimes when fixing Landy's you have to break a few eggs.

work is hectic today. People just don't seem to appreciated that you need the correct paperwork on time, every time to organise delivery of stuff. Getting kinda fed up with oh just push this one through. I need a holiday!
