Thats the one mate. He spent a lot of dosh on it. he had a few problems with it and gave up on it. Had a couple of enquiries about it already:D

What's your suspension like, is it really stiff?

Couldnt really say. Ive only drove it round the block. It seems quite good.
seemed to be quite free when i jacked it up. it articulates easily.
Never driven an sj before so i dont know how they should be. there has been a lot of dosh spent on it. just needs to be finished off now by somebody with interest in it.

so tempting but i have a good friends wedding to attend after work and I must confess that should I return capable of driving, somthing would have gone wrong. Jai

Jai,
I've allocated all weekend to working on it. I'll give you a ring later. I went to Dingocroft yesterday and bought hopefully all of the necessary gaskets and seals, so should be good.

thats about 10 minutes from me - give me a shout can have a bbq going next time ;)

Pintsize!!! looks like its got more ground clearance than the rav, and it looks like it could be bloody good on the rough stuff

actually, i kinda like it :/

I had an SJ bought it and modified it for off road at a cost of £800, Bought my Disco years ago for £3000 now spent £4000 on it to make it better off road and it still won't get in and out of the same places as the SJ. Love my Land Rovers, best expedition vehicles ever made, but if you want an off road play thing buy an SJ. Die hard Land Rover fans will probably disagree, but you've just got to look at the facts. i've had a 2nd place at a punch challenge with the sj up against fully preped up challenge vehicles and had to recover stuck Land Rover because the sj was the only vehicle that could still move. I love me Land Rovers but there just too heavy, only way round it is to sit them on 35, 12.5 to spread the load, but then there not great for laning as well as play days, because then there to wide and high to make it through the lanes.

Isn't it Whaddon this weekend? Anyone up for that if so? otherwise may well look at a few lanes on Sunday
