lol! Well i must say at the risk of going home to find a dribble of oil. I didnt use any silicone, ok well a wee bit instead of a felt washer and so far no leaks from rear diff or rear trans seal

Just had another crawl under the Rangie - water dripping from rear core plug. Looks like I can't put it off any longer and it's going to be a real pain to get at. Hey ho, never say die and all that.

Cheers Glenn appreciate the thought. If I was taking the engine out I'd probably take you up on the offer but I can't do that so got to do it the hard way - crawl under it and become a contortionist.

I got loads which I never had before Sunday! Some of them should polish out with alot of elbow grease...others...well battle scars of Happy times! I've left it dirty for the time being to cover over the scratches
As much as I tried avoiding the bushes and branches the inevitable happened as expected!

what sort of motors do you guys take on these trips - im guessing predominantly disco's and defenders? any range rover guys?

Classic Kev has a Classic Range Rover, Spyderman has a series III modified, plenty of defenders, 90's and Disco, in various states. Mine is especially wrecked but will get sorted when I ave time.
