Well where's the bloody pictures then?Am i In trouble now lol .. I have just been Given an L plated 88 Series 3 ..from a lovely lady .... The collection begins lmao .. have no idea what is in store for me ,, Just gona use it as a run around....

If you need any bits, let me know. I seem to have accumulated a few, especially engine parts, most of which I no longer need as I changed Engine.

Will send you a pic on ya phone lol havent got round to seeing whats what yet , It has freewheeling front hubs that i dont know how use lol and of course two ubfamiliar knobs that i also will need to get use to lol .. But i will begin a work list .. strange thing is it has 15 inch wheels on instead of 16s ,, i was hoping i could put my ATs on to her which are 235 70 16 , as all the tyres on at the moment are suspect ,, It started first time after being sat for a few months and has last years MOT , so will put it through one to see what it fails on ...

Hey people!! I'm back from my travels, feels like I've been away for an eternity. Nice to see everyone is O.K. but I notice there has been nothing from DB or Claydond for ages, anyone know if those guys are still on the planet??

OK Working on the principle that "exploitation begins at home" (Ferengi Rule of Acquisition no. 34) I decided to get Kai to change the Radiator in the shogun. He started off well:
He showed me the size of the space he had to work in:
but insisted that he could get the steering guard off despite its recent encounter with a small deer
Eventually he conceded that the tool was too small and discovered Land Rover Rule no 2: If it don't work get a bigger tool
Finally just about ready to lift out the old one... just needs a little leverage!
Apparently the replacement rad had a few nozzles the old one lacked... so the answer... fit a pipe to bridge the gap... another stage done without Dad. I'm starting to feel a bit redundant!
Stick the new one in and the jobs a good 'un.
I know posting these on here is really self indulgent... but he really iscoming along fast and its due in part to the practical and patient explanations that every one on here is willing to provide him with. Its never easy getting a 9 year old to understand what's going on so practical experience it is!
