Ryder,

That's a bit of a blow. Disappointing it is but I'm sure we all know the feeling. Anyway, did you still want to pinch me wheels on Friday?

No worries mate. Ive got a double cardon front prop and the front uj is from a series 2! Bigger and stronger but no grease point. Gonna try and find replacements for all three uj's with grease points as I dont like the idea of em running dry. I also want to get a wide angle prop for the rear and the disco has the donut rear which I personally hate. Some people say they are good but they dont stand up to much abuse in my eyes and the rubber rings get quite expensive at 18 quid a pop when I can get through 4 a year!
Inside out 4x4 do a coverter flange for the diff, so you can fit a 200 TDI prop to a 300 TDI diff and do away with that rubber joint, BUT make sure he sends you the flange spacer as well or it really F**ks up the diff as i found out.

Kev

assuming things work out ok... then I surely do my friend

I'll be sure to let you know for certain tomorrow evening.

The easy way to do it is to fit a front diff flange and the spacer which is likely what he sells. Just got to get a wide angle prop and im'e away. Glen321 an 99claydond have just left me and can I just say on the open forum what top blokes they are for driving to my place in the evening after work just so I can bang in 5 rivets .
Many many thankx fellas.
:D :D :D

Could be, not had the front flange off yet, but i know the 200 diff flange wont fit onto the 300 diff, splines are completely different. Scorpian racing do wide angle props if your feeling rich.

just got in from discobashers, nice to meet you and glenn321!!
Even managed to buy myself a snorkel for the weekend!
Hope to see ya'll saturday!!

Hi Leonberger,

I presume you are going to Santa Pod, if you need to check swr let me know I can bring a swr meter if you can't borrow one before.

Hopefully it won't be far out and your twig won't need anything radical, I had to cut mine down a bit but no big problem, should only take a couple of minutes to check and adjust.
