Hi defenderdog..... my mate has just fitted a complete LED set of lights...headlights.. tail lights and brakes and indicators all for a few hundred I'll see what the kit is

What headlight's have you got in your series lee said you had led ones, the only led ones I can find are around the £800 mark?

Headlights are the HID upgrade ones, Sidelights, indicators, rear lights, work lights and spots are LED are seriously bright and totally waterproof.

Looked at them thought they where just upgraded bulbs and a converter, I keep getting water in the headlights what company did you get them from and are they fully waterproof, cheers.

Bought the headlights from Paddocks and used loads of silicone where the glass meets the reflector, that's where they leak, so far no leaks despite being immersed several times.

How was whaddon???
Very wet and extremely slippery, ended up in all sorts of holes, winch had some serious use, together with waffles and ground anchor. Rescuing myself and everyone else. Loads of the old tracks are now passable since the repair work has been done, makes it a lot better knowing that you've got a chance of getting through whereas before you didn't have a hope no matter what you were driving

Hi again. I posted a week ago introducing myself since I've moved to Ware and about an oil leak. Turned out to be just a loose hose coming off the cooler, so an easy fix with tightening the clip.

Now this over the weekend. I heard what sounded to be a belt making a noise. I checked and saw this bolt was very loose. I tried tightening it, but it seemed to get to a point and just spin (not all the way in). After another short drive, it was loose again.

Any tips? Is this normal to loosen up and should there be a nut on the back to hold it on that could have fallen off?

Thanks again for the help

Bottom alt bracket looks like there should be a nut behind. To tension the alt belt you need to loosen the bolt on the bottom rhs of alt the bit on the other end of the bracket to the bolt. tension and then re tighten. But only do this after you have the bolt you show that is hanging out is back in.

Can't remember if the bracket is threaded but I would guess its not and it should have a nut behind it
