i dont suppose anyone has a 200tdi radiator kicking around do they? also a fan and cowling for the same motor? cheers fellas

Lee the problem you have is yours is a conversion I believe and could be a disco engine. If so no cowl I know of is a bolt on fit. I have a disco engine in mine and disco rad inter cooler assy. I have fitted a cowling but its nowhere near the fan. I have fitted a lecky one in the cowling. I'm sure it can be sorted dead easy but I do not know of anything that bolts on and works.

Ref the rad not sure if the defender and disco rads are the same needs part numbers looking up to check. it could be they are the same but depending on what you have fitted could mean changing front rad mounts if they are different.

Will you be bringing the landy tomorrow spidy?

Still to do:
Fit new water pump, old one was fooked.
Fit new radiator, old one was so full of mud and battered it was scrap.
Do rough wheel alignment, as everything is new including HD steering rods, take for tracking to be done.
Fit new custom wide angle HD front propshaft, should be here next week.
Get MOT.
Get Tax.

Total spend so far on the front end is about £1,000, but at least I know everything is now good.

Nice to meet some of you guys at White Lion last night, and popped my getting stuck cherry on the way home following Andy down Sandy lane ! 2 wheels dug into sand 1 in the air! Lmao! Only needed a little pull to free it!

Gotta get some Jate rings and a decent rope!!
:D

Good to meet up!!

Look on ebay for ropey boyes was their sellers name but put in 24mm rope. forget fancy stuff a 24mm nylon polypropylene rope will serve you well and last years if looked after. they were the best price I found delivered.
Jate rings around £12 to £20 each nice to have 2 on front with a short bridle but 1 is adaquate. If you need an ammo box to put your ropes and kit into I have a few here ill happily swap it for a pint next time your at a pub meet.

This is an 8 meter they do a 5 meter for around £25 ish.

I like the 8 meter simply because you can double up and use it as 4m or 8m
Bit more useful in some circumstances.

If you do get something from them email them first and ask if they can supply rated shackles instead of cheapies. Simply because if you do come to a drive around non rated shackles are not allowed to be used on site and its worth the extra 3 or 4 quid.

There is no need to spend a mortgage to enjoy laning and offroading.

Tow points, a good old rope and someone to call just in case is all you need.
