Great photos guys, nice to see you all in action and even better to hear everyone home safe and having enjoyed the weekend.

We'll have to organise another trip somewhere. I second Spydermans invitation to Ratty and Robint, next year you guys must come up this way, lots to go and do.

BTW sorted the Rangie, a damaged seal let a bit of water into the bearings on the back wheel, no biggie - all fixed but suspect oil change on both axles is going to be a wise move this weekend coming.

Heard from Glen321 today, I think he enjoyed himself. Anybody heard from
Kris300TDI? Saw one of the Rangey boys on the road today, I swear he was still smiling.

Leonberger, thanks for the thought. I didn't really organise that much, just pointed people in the right direction and let the magic happen. I would say though that another pub meet would be nice, I'll give it some thought. Anybody have thoughts on that idea?

I think I spoke to Ryder about the possibility of a monthly or bi monthly meet at the pub we held the Salisbury meet at. seems sensible should be central-ish anyone up for it?? whats the best evenings to do?

Jai

Debriefing is a must!

BTW

Here's a question for ya. If I drive through a ford without disconnecting the fan I get all manner of mis fire. Today I shoved a jetwash all around the engine bay and ne'er a problem. Surely the jetwash should do more to inhibit the efficient engine running rather than less?

Well you would have thought so but it doesn't work quite that way. The propeller that is your viscous fan sprays everything everywhere and basically manages to get muddy water and everything else into places you can't reach with a jet wash.

The proof is if you look at your engine once it has dried after you have jet washed it, I'll bet there are places you have missed. The other thing is the engine is running when you ford, go through all manner of crud and whatever but normally the engine is cold and not running when you jet wash it. Condensation is another factor, often when you ford etc you get condendsation forming inside the dizzy cap - hey presto instant misfire. You get the alternator covered in wet crap and same result. A fine spray of water in the inlet - guess what? water on the contacts on the various engine sensors - same again.

I suppose the big thing is, as long as it is running, keep going:D

Just a thanks to all for such a great weekend, mainly to ryder and rose for allowing me to use the shogun for the weekend so i could still make it (sorry it had to get cleaned but thats your fault :D )

I dont know if my shogun rims will fit your frontie, but if they do you are welcome to put my worn BFGs on the frontie before selling. You don't want to be selling those at the same time do you!
