40 years old and still going! From the start of this month (April 2021) no MOT nor RFL.

But, need insurance of the heritage limited mileage variety. Please would anyone recommend a good insurer for a low premium and no rip off "charges" for my S3.

It is in good condition with a Fairy overdrive. Would a value of £9000 be unreasonable?
Cheers.

I’ve been with Lancaster for quite a few years if you go on the comparison websites you can choose from lots quotes
Nice to have free tax and that would add to its value , put some pics up

I use Footman James for insuring my 1974 series 3. Limited mileage, breakdown cover and agreed value. Happy with their price and service.

Adrian Flux. Similar vehicle, limited miles about £70 pa. seem ok. Use Lancaster for other cars at similar prices as I believe there’s a minimum premium so they end up similar. Lancaster always up the renewal and a quick phone call each year brings it back to about 2/3 or the price quoted. Same with most I suspect.

My Series is with Lancaster but they have been creeping their renewals up. I have another classic and decided to use Compare the Market to test where things were. Got a deal for £100 less (150 vs 250). , There was some advice recently, apparently covid has meant a lot less driving and a lot less claims so premiums have gone down a lot for new polices, but the companies are not dropping renewals. It pays to shop around at the moment.
