So please tell:D

In short.

I want to pull the 4.6 and rebuild it, then stuff it in the D2.

Then with a big hole in the RR that needs filling, i want a 5.2 Stroked Rover V8 with all the kit.

Merlin heads - fast road cam - LLoyd ECU and loom

etc etc

just a proper kit.

Just thinking out loud! ;)

Think as loud as you want :)

When we replaced the engine in the autobiography, I so very nearly chose the 5.2 stroked top hat. But was away at the time and all the extras was a pain. M needed a car;) we air freighted a V8 engine from UK to here:eek:.

You have time and age on your side (plus spare vehicle). Money might be the problem though;).

Nothing wrong with a 4.6 disco:D.

Money will be an obstacle!

Or i'll keep to the rationale and just build my 4.6 and plonk it back in the p38! ;)

Or go the new route Henry

Would love to see how that would work with the P38, it is a tad more complicated.

I've already contacted them about it and they said it was too complicated to convert.

And that was converted by london electric and it was 50k all in. so eh.

And that doesn't make a v8 noise.

a fully built 5.4 RV8 is 5k.

But even thats too rich for me.
