Does any body now if the drivers side heated mirror and drivers side heated seat are linked, because the buggers have stopped working the same time. If so any tips on where to start looking would be great, as you can tell I don't do.............ELECTRICS. But I'm willing to learn from you folks.

what version of disco do you have 1 2 or 3?

have you checked fuses to see if there isnt a blown one?

Sorry guys got carried away.........doh it's a disco 2 td5, yeah checked the fuses under the steering wheel and all seem fine.

Do they come on automatically with the rear screen like on the Disco 1's? If so, does the rear screen work?

Mine comes on with the front heated screen, + the screen does work, and the passenger heated mirror works too

The heated seat element has a fuse under the appropriate front seat in a little carrier. There are 3 fuses there - worth a check.

Not obvious to me how this relates to the drivers heated mirror.

looking at the wiring diagrams they are not linked

so just 2 problems at the same time

Arh typycal 2 problems ocuring at the same bloody time, thats landrover for you. They should have called themselves Brainteaser not Landrover, they always keep your brain ticking, cant live with them, cant live without them. Thanks guys for your replies.......will let you know how i get on.
