It's very easy to replace.
Step 1
Take it to your local dealer
Step 2
Point and cry
Step 3
Pay them lots of cash.
 
Its under the turbo on the left hand side of the engine.
Not the easiest of places to get to and not the cheapest of items either !!!
Follow some of the previous advise, point and cry for a while until you come to terms with the fact you have to get it off and its gonna cost ya !!! :D

In the parts books Land Rover refer to Left & Right when sitting in the driving seat, not whilst standing in front of the vehicle and looking back at the engine, so starter and turbo on the left.
