Her indoors has just broken down and got RAC'd to Plymouth!! Needs a new alternator. I am hoping to drive from Swindon to Plymouth to try to fix the car. Anyone know where I can get an alternator for a 97 300 Tdi Disco late on a Saturday or a Sunday!!! Thanx

possibly halfrauds is about the only place that open on a sunday

Thanks for that.Tried Halfrauds and they don't keep them in stock......Probably try for a breakers now! Seen one on the side of the M5 somewhere between Bristol and Exeter but can't remember where it was or what it was called. Landrover.something!!!!
