Recently had an alternater fitted to my discovery 3 by a well known landy dealer in west wales
When I got the car back found a trim on the floor any ideas where it goes
It's about 8" by 6" like the front of a sole of a boot
It's made of rubber and if I knew how to put a pic on I would
It looks like it comes from the interior of the landy but I can't see where

Breakdown man took it out of centre console
As he couldn't get EPB off and was looking to cut brake wire
Might add breakdown man was not from landy dealer

cutting the wire sounds abit extreme
Did the park brake not come off coz the battery was flat due to you Alt failure ,if so would putting a jump pack on enable you to release the brake,
Shirley the brake is not designed to come on with a flat battery.
Is it rigged to the security system

dose any one know how these things work (with out giving any thing away to thieving bastards)
