I have a Defender with the front wheel bearing gone, Ive followed the threads to replace it which seemed easy until I took off the wheel and found out I have a discovery front axle (200). The Defender parts are now in the post, what I want to know is will the parts be any good or will I have to order new ones for the discovery.

Bearings will fit as will the inner seal. I thing the the early disco axles also have a outer hub seal, which I don't think the defender has.

If you google wheel bearing kits, for both vehicles the part numbers will give you a definative answer.

Thanks for the prompt reply, it's saved me a 2 hour round trip to the nearest dealer
