Can anyone tell me the type of oil filter to use in a series 3 land rover 109. Have been sent a fram one part no.CH837PL does this sound right.

the engine type is more important than the series number.

It's a 4 cyl. petrol engine......

RTC3184 oil filter. series 11 & 111 for the 2.25 petrol engine. very common filter.
not sure if this number cross references to your fram number.
