Hi i am new to the land rover world and need a bit of help :)
All started with the car being down on power uphill then it would not get up at all :( Then it would miss power over 2500 rpm and go down and cut out on open road but manged to get it home just now it did not start again.I thought it must be filter or injector loom so changed the oil,all filters,injector loom still wont start :( I have nanocom and there is not coming up any faults and when reading fuelling everything seems to be fine too. done test and all sensors are fine too :(

egr is blocked off too
no fuel leaking from FPR
no smell of diesel from oil
Any input would be a great help here thanks in advance :)

Your sure you've got all the oil in the red plug going to the ecu?

I took my ecu out and stood it on It's end for the afternoon after cleaning the plug.

Starting wise is it cranking or nothing at all?
 
Yes mate it had oil in it took it off and cleaned it up and left it to dry for a week.The car is cranking it was trying to start but wont fire up.

my thoughts go to
FPR,TIMING,PUMP or injector washers ???

Try purge cycle, suspect washers and injector orings

how are you reading "fueling" as the td5 doesnt have any diagnostic sensors for fuelling
 
Update checked the pump all clean and working fine :( pain in the a×× to get back in.Got some washers and o rings on the way and new fuel regulator so hope its one of them.
 
Yes mate its the live data but the setting is called (read fuelling )on the nanocom.I am going to change the Fpr just waiting on parts coming cheers
 
Nearly got it to fire up today ! Had a engine speed sensor fail cleared that and was trying to fire up with lots of white smoke coming out and it was smelling of unburnt fuel ?

that does seem like a symptom of injector seals
 
Got hold of a set today so will change the tomorow and see fingers crossed it goes well ��

most peeps only use the genuine land rover seals and washers as the cheaper one's are of dubious quality
