I made my own lines from the flexi to the caliper. The hole in the bracket on the swivel housing is often cut into a slot to allow the the removal of the caliper whilst still attached to the flexi so you don't have to bleed the brakes every time you take off. I can't help you with part numbers but just bought standard flexes.

Have you had to replace anything from flexi master cylinder?

Nah not replaced anything I’m just going to spend the £50 on those hoses in that link I think. I can bend some but rather have those ones tbh

I ended up changing the pipe on the right hand side too. But in the end I virtually did an axle refurb. Changed the front axle case to a like new 300tdi one, which then required new hockey sticks so new bushes in those, both swivel housings, new bearings, new calipers and new discs. I changed the turrets to galv and replaced the shocks. But everything has been kept standard. Everything I have done I have replaced the fixings, which certainly adds cost, but should make ongoing maintenance easier. I also kept my springs as they were doing the job OK.

I cleaned a lot of my bits with electrolysis, which on the front axle included swivel housings, hubs, stub axles, hockey sticks and panhard rod. They then got a coat of zinc rich primer (Bonda Rust Primer) and a black top coat. This all adds work but I am thinking longer term.

Due to my truck not having extended springs etc, I used standard flexi hoses. I did consider braided but got mixed reviews on if they improve anything. Also I wanted standard so I could clamp them to do future work on the brakes and I don't think, though not sure, if you can clamp braided.

Sounds good! I’ve pretty much done the same thing. It’s one of those jobs that when you do anything to the swivel you just end up going crazy and replacing everything at once! Start with the swivel, then the bearings, then the brakes, then oh the CV joint is only £30 odd quid etc 😅

Yeah the braided hoses you can’t clamp, but I was thinking with the hoses I’ve linked above I can just move the caliper over to the springs (to hang) if doing disks with the flex it will have so I might not need to disconnect at all.

If not then I’ll just bleed the system for the £8 dot4 price these days

I’m glad I’ve done everything axel wise at once though! Still debating to order a full vehicle braided hose kit just so I know everything in that area is done. But my plan was to just get it all sorted for its MOT.
 
I know what you mean about getting it through its mot, but sometimes that extra effort means it will get through the next, then the next....

With the standard hoses I have cable tied my calipers to the springs to do further work. I ended up swapping out my axle case after doing my swivels!! I could have left the axle case but it was certainly crusty and I was offered one that looked like new for £100 so bit the bullet.

Definitely one of those that when everything is in bits in front of you the £100 part will save you the effort down the line!
