Hi I got a diagnostic reader for my freelander . It says front left abs signal periodic what dose this mean . My freelander is a 2003 2.5 v6 it has the blue abs plugs sensor is held in with a bolt Thanks
Ps yes the three amgos are on

Check the resistance readings for the sensors and compare against the others.

Also see if you can monitor the individual wheel speed sensor readings via your diagnostic kit and see if its acting strange

Thanks for the reply I think I can monitor the abs as my diagnostic kit has a thing called live feeds . It is very hard to get to the pins inside the plug to check resistance readings the blue plugs are deep ones . I have just noticed the wiring at the plug has be cut then rejoined would this affect the resistance .

Not if done correctly. IE, soldering and insulated using heat shrink tubing !

Use adhesive lined heatshrink

The wire's been crimp as 1 is copper and one is steel
