hi guys

I have afew wiring problems which i hope one or more of you may help with.thier are a pair of wires brown and green and a brown wire taped together and come off the headlightloom apart half way and i do not now what these are for?

I have a green relay holder 5 pin

1 pin has 1 red ansd slate
2 pin has black wire
3 pin has black wire
4 pin has 2x red and slate wire
5 pin has black and purple wire
pins are in no order
still do not now what the red and slate wires are for?
the black and purple has a very thin what looks like purple strip any ideas?

trouble is m8 that all means nothing,,

landys tend to be adapted and alterd all thu there life with anything people have to hand,so theres nothing to say that wiring is original

my advice buy a haynes manual

Pretty sure a quick search would turn up a wiring diagram with a key

I have the haynes and the land rover daigrams. spent hours working out the bilkhead loom and labeling it up, so that why i have turned to the forum for the last few unknown parts

Sounds like the remnants of a Diy spot lamp job. Or are they part of the main loom--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

the relay is part of the main bulkhead loom i have 3 relays in total
1 starter 4 pin
1 rear lights 4 pin
1 the green relay unknown 5 pin

none of the wiring daigrams have red and slate wires but on a forum i read it may be the over heat on the tranfer box this is not on any of the wiring daigrams
