the adverts saying
1998 range rover 4.0 se
1995 n range rover 2.5 dse called Huracane wheels
does this mean a screwed or can i get the nuts ????

HI, THE THREAD SIZE ON THE LANDROVERS AND RANGEROVERS ARE ALL M14 X 1.5. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE SIZE OF THE HOLES IN THE WHEELS. IT DEPENDS ON WHEN THE WHEELS WERE MADE TO WHAT SIZE HOLES THEY HAVE. UP TO 2002 THEY ARE 29MM FROM 2002-2005 THEY ARE 20MM AND 2005 ON THEY ARE 22MM. THE BEST WAY TO BE SURE IS JUST TO MEASURE THE HOLES IN THE WHEELS YOU HAVE. ALL SIZES ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS ADVERT ANYWAY. JUST STATE THE SHANK SIZE REQUIRED IN THE COMMENTS BOX.
MANY THANKS

found this out on ebay

Disco 2 wheels and hubs are different to Disco 1 and Series/Defender parts.

P38 Wheels and hubs are compatible with Disco 2 although the centre ring is slightly different in diameter.

The difference is in the stud diameter (smaller on Disco 1) and the PCD of the wheel studs (larger on Disco 1)

If you buy some of the Non-Disco 2 wheels, like the RR Sport wheels, you'll need a new set of nuts which have the same thread but smaller body and hexagon (22mm against 27mm for the Disco 2)

We had 19" RR Sport wheels on our Disco 2 when we bought it, but got shot of those pretty quickly as the ride was awful on the low profile tyres, and went back to 8J 16" rims with 255/65 R16's.

Don't know if anyone will even see this, but I used it as I wanted to temporarily use the locking wheel nuts off one or other of my DIscovery 1s on my Discovery 2. (Visit to tyre sellers and dodgy locking wheel nut key)
So I have just finished mucking around taking a locking wheel nut off a Disco1 and then trying to put it on the Disco 2.
Absolutely it WILL NOT WORK. Despite what @triffer "found on ebay".
The profile of the nuts is wrong at the inner/conical end, one is shorter than the other, AND the size of the studs is completely different. Not just thread size actual diameter of the stud, is so different you can slide one completely
SO, don't believe everything you read on eBay!!! (@triffer)
