2.5TD 1987. I need to replace the side indicator repeaters as they are very corroded. However, I can not see how to get the old ones off as I can't get to the rear of the bolts to hold the nuts and the top of the bolts are totally corroded and fused to the fitting. Any ideas oh oracle of Landys?

We are suffering from a mild attack of insane giggling

We are sorry for any inconvenience and normal service will be restored shortly

Errrrr.....are you changing the whole lamp unit?

Don't know about fenders but Series have a removeable panel in the back corner to get to the back of the lamps

Yep, will be changing the whole unit as they are knackered. Will have a look but not sure that there is a removeable panel. Thanks for answering thought I had entered the twilight zone!!

Thought you wuz talking about the back for some reason

Dont know why you can't get to the back from in front of the wheel as it's only single skin

Drill em out and start again?

My wheel arches seem to have some sort of plastic cover to stop me getting to the nuts.

Its called a wheel arch  just pull it off, they generally are only held on by trim clips. This will allow yous easy access to replace the indicators.

Plastic arches eh? What WILL they think of next?

Doesn't that prevent the much sought after protective built-up layer of mud and crap over the light connections......?

Actually, decided to take her out and have a little play instead of working on her this weekend, got her slightly muddy for the first time. Might take her for a paddle at Wooky Ford tomorrow as it is just down the road. :)

Will endeavour to do some work on her next week if the weather allows.
