Ok christmas thanks Ratty, didn't have too many prossies to open :D Your crimbo ok or like me too much work?

say what yer want, nothing likes ice, been out earlier on the lanes , iced over and now polished like glass with a days melted ice now frozen again, i were using high gears difflok where needed, the second i could see the turnings i applied small taps to the brakes just to slow it down , but half the time i just kept going,
got out and let a bit out me tryes so the bottom was in full contact with the road and a slight bulge, it were a lot better,

i always prefered thin tall tyres on ice (especially if you can get spikes) as they bite in more

We dont get bad winters that much so I am a bit of a novice at winter driving. The roads around here are like 3 inches of sheet polished glass at the moment and most people aint moving just spinning in circles. Whats the best gear selection for these conditions in a landy 110. Cheers.

tshirt and a wooly jumper and cat boots
