I'm trying to open a new thread in selling any other section but says I don't have access rights? Is the red new thread button the right one?

What you need to do is learn to read.
It clearly says at the top of the for sale forum that you need to have a minimum of 50 RELEVANT posts to be able to sell in the For Sale section.
This is because the For Sale section is for active members, not for random people trying to avoid eBay fees or sell stolen stuff.
The idea is that if people contribute to the forum then they get access to the for sale section to sell stuff. If they don't then they can go and use eBay.
Stick around, it's a fun place, very helpful too

Try GumTree - that's always an excellent outlet for stolen stuff
