geez i just done a quote on there for me disco with more than 9 years no claims it came back with £831................ i just done swinton and theres was £180
that insurance company wont cover his disco as its a "94" they only cover much older ones
They cover mine and its a "96"
Come to think of it they do 3 of my mates too a "98" a "94" and a "95" defender, disco AND Terrano ALL under £300 FC and ALL under 25yo
I just got a quote from them on an E reg 90 - £2000! For the same car the Post Office quoted me just over £300!
Bloomin eck guvnor, did you put your age down as 10 yrs or summat!
strange i just tried to put my details in and they wouldnt take it so i guess i must phone them and enquire ......... sounds a good deal 300 smackers for under 25 ,s mind im a little older than 25
Remember I've got a claim because me Disco II was vandalised.
Yeah same happened to us, took over a year for them to remove the claim from our details, despite it being the other driver's fault, cost us an extra £200 that year to get insurance. Make's you wonder why there are over 2 million car's on the road are uninsured...
How long do I have to wait before I can stop disclosing it?
Worrying thing is that insurance for a kiddie on L plates is cheaper than when they've past their test due to them being supervised on L plates.
:welcome2:Just bought my son his first Landy. Can anyone point me to a good CHEAP insurance company as best quote is £1825 because he is on L plates. Crazy price considering he can only learn with me in the landy with him.
Any ideas on where to go please
