I think 2 yrs ago. We get through them due to location and lifestyle. Most journeys are under 20 miles each way. During lambing it's a killer, as farm is on 1.5miles away. So constant short hops. When was your last battery gold? Wow![]()
What about a solar panel on the roof?I think 2 yrs ago. We get through them due to location and lifestyle. Most journeys are under 20 miles each way. During lambing it's a killer, as farm is on 1.5miles away. So constant short hops.
they do thin flexible panels now wouldn't be that difficult to retro fit one onto the roofShame they cant incorporate a solar panel into the sunroof it would be a winner for rangie owners.
Yep, every vehicle has it's own solar panel when parkedOur Keith is one for that. Keeps his machines on the ready.![]()

I need to drive her more. Would sort the problem. I love her, love driving her, but nowhere to go, and I'm likely to kill a tourist at this time of year, if I go for a jaunt. What about a solar panel on the roof?

Not true, even on an overcast day, a solar panel produces some power, it's just a matter of choosing the right size. I use 20 watt panels with a charge controller. On a heavily overcast day in winter, the still produce about 30/50ma which is enough to keep the P38's happy.Need some sun for that![]()
